During Rio+20 PSSC took part the Partnerships Forum. This Forum consisted of ¨highly dynamic and interactive sessions to highlight the significant contributions of partnerships to the implementation of sustainable development¨. The Partners in South-South Cooperation (PSC) partnership between Costa Rica, Benin, and Bhutan has proven a clear example of the value of partnerships in the implementation of sustainable development, with the PSC winning the UNDP South-South Cooperation Award in 2010.

The schedule for the Partnerships Forum included 5 different sessions spread over 3 days and PSSC was looking forward to participating in the sessions and learning from the other partnerships. Programme for South-South Cooperation Benin, Bhutan and Costa Rica participated at a session of the Partnerships Forum at Rio+20 entitled Speed Brokering for Partnerships: scaling-up and replicating best practices in sustainable development.
